About Mathetica
With over 24 years of tutoring experience and 17 years of classroom teaching, I’ve worked with students of all ages, levels, and learning profiles. Over the years, I’ve come to understand that no two students are the same—each has their own academic background, pace of learning, critical thinking habits, and confidence levels. That’s why I take a highly personalized approach to every session.
I begin by identifying each student’s current understanding and learning style—whether they’re visual, hands-on, logical, or a mix. From there, I tailor lessons to build on strengths, address challenges, and foster true comprehension rather than memorization. I use real-world examples, engaging analogies, and strategic repetition to make learning stick.
I only specialize in a wide range of mathematical subjects, including:
-
Math from elementary basics through Calculus and Statistics for College and high school math.
-
Critical thinking in obtaining the solution to a problem
-
Early math readiness using colors, games, and physical movement for young learners
Students working with me not only improve their grades—they gain confidence, independence, and a lifelong skill set for tackling challenges. Whether you or your child need to catch up, get ahead, or rediscover the joy of learning, I’m here to help guide the way.
